Environmental Policy

Here at Party On Balloons, we recognise that we have a responsibility to the natural world around us. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and are always striving to improve our environmental practices. We encourage our customers and suppliers to join us in this effort.

To that extent, our environmental policy can be found below.

Our Environmental Policy

We are industry professionals who do not support, condone or facilitate the organised release of balloons for any occasion.
We use latex balloons sourced from sustainable natural rubber tree plantations. During its lifetime, a single rubber tree counteracts the carbon emissions from a car that has been driven for more than 22,000 miles.
The production of latex from sustainable sources helps provide employment and much-needed income for many people living in some of the most impoverished places on Earth.
The small balloons that we use inside and to decorate our bubbles are biodegradable, as is the confetti we use.
The helium used to inflate our balloons is a by-product gathered during the production of medical grade helium, which would otherwise be released into the atmosphere. We also use helium which has already been used in medical environments for cooling equipment, such as MRI scanners.
We also use recycled plastic bangles for our balloon weights, which can be re-used or recycled.
Whilst we source as many renewable and environmentally-friendly raw materials as we can, some of our products are plastic.
Our outer bubble balloons are made from a stretchy plastic material, but they are recyclable under the right conditions. So as to reduce our contribution to ‘single use plastics’, Party On Balloons is focused on creating amazing products without impacting our environment.
Once you are finished with your balloon, you can ‘pin it’ safely to deflate it, and pop it back in the post to us so we can recycle it for you. We also use recycled plastic weights which can be re-used or recycled, so please feel free to include these when posting your balloon back to us.
